What keeps us busy: Integrated Marketing Planning
This is a place where Excel, PowerPoint and your imagination all need to be open at the same time.
We don’t only come up with ideas, and we don’t only pull data. We are the Integrated Marketing Planning department, where the left brain and the right brain are both at the party.
What we do here may be more varied than you think.
Sometimes we are pitch warriors, writing presentations for annual pitches while falling in love with data.
Sometimes we are media magicians, conjuring the biggest possible impact from a limited budget.
Sometimes we are market detectives, finding the next move for clients and communities in industry trends and consumer behaviour.
Projects vary and the pace changes, but everyone has their own moves.
Some are good at strategy, some are good at creative ideas.
There is no standard answer here, but we have always believed that one person can go fast, but a group can go further.

I like strategy, I like data, and I like the freedom and flexibility here even more
I joined CloudAD three and a half years ago. If I had to describe my time here in one sentence, it would be “finding a comfortable pace of growth within a flexible, free system”.
CloudAD’s team is streamlined, works flexibly and has a very human feel. There is a lot of freedom here, so everyone can solve problems and be creative in their own way. Sometimes projects arrive fast and urgently and the adrenaline surges. At other times you need to proceed step by step, carefully breaking down the data to find the most precise strategy. In an environment like this there is no standard answer, only finding your own most comfortable pace amid change and challenges, and continuing to improve.
Finding a voice and ownership at CloudAD
CloudAD is a remarkable place. As long as your idea is clear enough and your goal is specific enough, the company will let you run with it.
As a Media Planner, I am mainly responsible for integrated marketing planning for medium-sized and large clients, taking part in every stage from advertising strategy and data analysis to project management. In annual pitches, I not only need to put forward competitive marketing proposals, but also persuade clients with data to win market opportunities. I also provide training for clients, sharing my own insights and market trends with clients and colleagues. This environment keeps me improving and has gradually built my sense of responsibility for the projects in my hands. I have really come to feel the meaning of “learn and be curious, teach and be generous”.
Interesting people, one in ten thousand
Here, nobody fights alone.
CloudAD’s team covers every role, including data analysts (our data lead is extremely knowledgeable and always shares lots of new information; I call her the “data Mazu”, after the goddess widely worshipped in Taiwan, even though she may not want the title), account managers, ad optimisers and media managers. Everyone is like a different class in an RPG, and none can be left out. Best of all, everyone is not only an expert but also very happy to share.
What I like most about CloudAD
- A free and flexible working atmosphere: there are no excessive layers of approval. As long as your idea is clear enough, the company will support you in carrying it out.
- Unlimited brainstorming: any idea can be raised, and we discuss and test ideas together to find the strongest strategy.
- Everyone has a voice: it isn’t seniority that decides who gets to speak, but what impact your ideas and value can have.
- Fast learning and growth: projects are varied, and every day you encounter new industries and try different marketing strategies. There is no fixed formula.
- Capable, supportive colleagues: data, optimisation, account management, PM and more. Everyone has their own expertise, and we cover for each other to make projects more complete.

Doing marketing well, and living well too
In Taiwanese companies, whether local or international, it is common to see value judged by “overtime hours” or “job title and seniority”. But CloudAD judges employees’ value by the substance of their work, such as keeping on top of progress and results. There is no need to prove yourself through pointless flattery and office politics, and the regular work-from-home day every Friday is also a sign of the company’s recognition of and trust in its employees. Being able to find a balance between work and life here is one of the things I really like about CloudAD.
A lean team full of hidden gems
What sets CloudAD apart is clear roles and real expertise in each of them. Whether in marketing planning, account management, ad optimisation or data analysis, everyone has their own distinctive insights, and colleagues have some hidden talents, such as palm reading, aerial yoga and even mermaid coaching. The atmosphere here is free, and we trust each other and work together seamlessly, which makes communication easy. We reach agreement on decisions faster than you might imagine. Whether it’s data analysis, ad operations, media planning or buying, everyone has their own specialism and is willing to share, which makes the whole team stronger.
Finding my marketing soul at CloudAD
As Media Manager, I develop and manage media resources, making sure the team has the best choice of media strategies, and bring together market trends to provide strategic recommendations. I also take part in pitch content planning, social media management and entering the company for awards, raising CloudAD’s profile, and I plan training so that the team grows together.
Before joining, I didn’t expect CloudAD to work with such a diverse range of clients and industries, including some major brands. It opened my eyes in a short time and gave me a better understanding of market information from every direction.
Our marketing lead, Agnes, is also very willing to listen to and consider all kinds of odd ideas of mine. For example, I wanted to call a second-hand eco sale the “消碳節” (“carbon-cutting festival”), because more than reducing carbon emissions, I cared about shoppers’ bargain-hunting urge at second-hand sales (in Chinese, “cutting carbon” sounds like “greedy for bargains”).
I think the happiest moments in marketing work are when you can share inspiration and ideas completely like this.
Free, but not alone
At CloudAD I can work freely without excessive reporting or layers of approval. But that doesn’t mean working alone. In an environment of high trust, we can work together in the most efficient way and focus on what really matters.

Conclusion
In the Integrated Marketing Planning department there is no standard answer and no universal formula.
We believe everyone’s expertise, rhythm and even quirky ideas can find a place here.
Freedom isn’t the same as having no rules, and flexibility doesn’t mean being loose. This is a team where you can ask questions with confidence, try things boldly, and work together to get things done, and done fully.
What you see here isn’t a department introduction. It’s the everyday life we actually lead.
